On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the BPS Cirebon Regency Production Team led by the Young Expert Statistician of BPS Cirebon Regency, Joko Mulyanto, held a one-day training for the 2024 Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey. The survey training, better known as the Quarterly VIMK, was attended by 27 participants, with 10 people serving as supervisors/inspectors and 17 people as field enumerators, with a total sample of 166 samples in Cirebon Regency.
The Head of BPS Cirebon Regency, @joediharto Trisnadi, had the opportunity to open and provide direction to the 2024 VIMK Survey officers. On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of the information that will be obtained from the 2024 VIMK Survey because it will be used as a benchmark for the 2026 Economic Census which will be held next year. Moreover, according to him, the MSME sector, including Micro and Small Industries, still dominates the economic pattern in Indonesia, especially in Cirebon Regency.
He hopes that the 2024 VIMK survey officers can dig up the information needed to obtain accurate data and information about the characteristics of Micro and Small Industries in Cirebon Regency.
