Training for SAKERNAS Survey Field Officer Candidates August 2024

Entering Semester II 2024, the Cirebon Regency Central Statistics Agency is again holding statistical activities, namely the August 2024 Sakernas Survey activity. The general aim of this survey activity is to provide continuous basic employment data, while the specific aim is to obtain estimates of data on the number of employed, unemployed and other employment indicators, as well as developments at the national and provincial levels.

As we know, the Sakernas Survey is carried out twice a year (semesterly) throughout Indonesia (38 provinces and 514 districts/cities). In February's Sakernas, the survey results were used to calculate estimates at the provincial level, while in August's Sakernas, they were used to calculate estimates down to the district/city level.

Today, BPS Cirebon Regency held training for prospective Sakernas Survey Field Officers in August 2024. The training was carried out for 2 (two) days offline, from 17 to 18 July 2024 at the Bentani Hotel, Jalan Siliwangi, Cirebon City.

The training for prospective SAKERNAS officers in August 2024 was opened by the Head of BPS District. Cirebon, @joediharto Trisnadi. and carried out in two classes, with regional instructors, namely Anna Fa'atin and Lili Anisa Fadzila (Inda Method), and Inda FASIH application are Yahya Ubaid and Ahmad Baihaqi.

For Sakernas August 2024 this time the CAPI method was used, namely using an application on officers' cellphones to conduct interviews. This application is called FASIH. The FASIH (Flexible and Authentic Survey Instrument Harmony) application is a Survey and Census application belonging to the Central Statistics Agency, which can be used for survey management, such as allocating officers, creating organizational structures and uploading selected samples. It is hoped that using this application in SAKERNAS activities in August 2024 will be able to cut time on business processes compared to collecting data using paper questionnaires.

Hopefully the August 2024 Sakernas Survey can run smoothly and produce quality employment data.
