Cassava Plant Tiling Survey

One of the BPS surveys that utilizes the latest technology is the Tiling Survey with the KSA (Area Sample Framework) method. With this method, agricultural land for food crops (rice fields) is monitored periodically by KSA officers. This KSA monitoring uses gadgets or smartphones so that it is connected to satellite imagery/digital maps of where the rice field segment is located. With this KSA method, we can find out the condition of agricultural land from time to time.
For the Secondary Crop Tiling Survey, BPS has not used the KSA method that I explained above, but still uses the old method, namely listing/registering agricultural households to obtain tile samples.
On Monday, October 7, 2024, the BPS Cirebon Regency Production Team led by Agah Hanan Tohaga and Tata Kurnia Gunawan supervised the Secondary Crop Tiling Survey in Sindangkempeng Village, Greged District. The KSA Tiling officers are Rudi Cahyadi and Sudur.
Hopefully, with this Secondary Crop Tiling Survey, we can calculate the level of food crop productivity accurately, validly and in accordance with the facts in the field.
