August 6, 2025 | BPS Activities

The Cirebon Regency Statistics Agency (BPS), through its Social Statistics Team, held an offline training session for the August 2025 National Survey (SAKERNAS) Officers on Monday-Tuesday, August 4-5, 2025, at the Apita Hotel in Cirebon. Twenty-two Field Data Collectors (PPL) and 11 Field Auditors (PML) participated in the training. The training instructors were Anna Faatin, a Junior Expert Statistician at BPS Cirebon Regency, and Hartono Budi Darmawan, a First Expert Statistician at BPS Cirebon Regency. The training was officially opened by the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency, Januarto Wibowo, SST., M.M.

SAKERNAS stands for National Labor Force Survey, conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This survey aims to collect comprehensive employment data in Indonesia. The data collected includes the number of employed people, unemployment, and various other employment indicators.

Sakernas data is used as a basis for formulating employment-related policies, development planning, and research.

Sakernas is conducted by involving field officers who conduct interviews and collect data in selected households.

We hope that the SAKERNAS activities in Cirebon Regency will run smoothly and produce high-quality and up-to-date employment data.

Data Friends, welcome the arrival of SAKERNAS officers at your home and answer the questions from the BPS officers as honestly as possible.
