International Anti-Corruption Day 2024
December 9, 2024 | Other Activities
To measure anti-corruption behavior in society, an indicator is compiled, namely the Anti-Corruption Behavior Index (IPAK). IPAK measures the level of public permissiveness towards corrupt behavior which includes opinions on community customs and experiences related to public services in terms of bribery, graft/gratuity, extortion, nepotism and nine anti-corruption values. The 2024 Anti-Corruption Behavior Survey was conducted in 186 districts/cities selected as samples for national estimates, including Cirebon Regency selected as a sample. The number of census block samples is 1,100 census blocks with a target household sample of 11,000 households. The IPAK value ranges from 0 to 5. The closer it is to 5, the better. This means that society behaves increasingly anti-corruption. In 2024, the IPAK value was 3.85, a decrease compared to 2023 which was 3.92. This means that compared to last year, in 2024 the public is more permissive towards anti-corruption behavior. IPAK is compiled based on two dimensions, namely the Perception Dimension and the Experience Dimension. The Perception Index value in 2024 was 3.76, down 0.06 points compared to 2023 which was 3.82. The same thing happened to the Experience Index. In 2024 (3.89) it decreased by 0.07 points compared to 2023 which was 3.96.
