Declaration of a Beautiful Village in 2024

On Thursday, September 19 2024, at the Suparman Meeting Room of BAPPELITBANGDA Cirebon Regency, BPS Cirebon Regency held the 2024 Cirebon Regency Beautiful Village Designation activity. 
This event was held thanks to good cooperation and collaboration from BPS Cirebon Regency, DISKOMINFO Kab. Cirebon and BAPPELITBANGDA Kab. Cirebon. This launching activity was also attended by the Head of the District DPMD. Cirebon, Nanan Abdul Manan, as the leading sector policy maker at the village level.
Acting Regent of Cirebon, Wahyu Mijaya, had the opportunity to attend the launch of the Beautiful Village in 2024. The two villages that received Beautiful Village coaching this year are Karangwangun Village, Kec. Babakan and Warujaya Village, District. Depok.
In his direction, the Acting Regent of Cirebon emphasized the importance of quality data to all heads of SKPD/OPD/Dinas/Agencies and sub-district heads who were present in Suparman's room. According to him, it is impossible for regional governments to make good and targeted policies without being supported by quality sectoral data. Please note, sectoral data is data created and collected by Departments/Agencies/SKPD/OPD to villages.
On this occasion, the Acting Regent of Cirebon said that the launch of this Beautiful Village should be used as a good momentum in the development of sectoral statistics in Cirebon Regency. According to him, all sectoral data producers must produce quality data. And to produce quality data, data producers must coordinate with BPS as the data developer.

PJ Regent also said that the Regional Government must immediately prepare regulatory instruments that support the development of Beautiful Villages by BPS. He hopes that, with the regulations that will later be drawn up by the regional government, all 424 villages/sub-districts in Cirebon Regency can immediately receive statistical guidance by BPS through the Beautiful Village program.
Finally, the PJ Regent hopes that with valid and quality village data, stakeholders such as Departments/Agencies/SKPD can easily make policies that are right on target because the data is already available.
