Thursday, September 14 2023, BPS Cirebon Regency carried out the "Declaration and Socialization of Beautiful Villages (Love Statistics)" in Bodesari Village, Plumbon District.
This activity was attended by representatives from the Cirebon Regency Regional Government, namely the Head of Plumbon District and the Team from the Cirebon Regency Diskominfo.
In his speech, Kuwu Bodesari, Suranah said that he welcomed and really supported the development of the Cantik Village (Cinta Statistics) activities in his village. Because according to him, a lot of data in villages has not been managed well so that policy making is often not on target. He hopes that with the development of this Beautiful Village, all programs created and planned will be right on target because they are supported by accurate data.
The Head of BPS Cirebon Regency, Judiharto Trisnadi, in his direction said that the BPS Cirebon Regency Cantik Village Development Team must first know the needs and problems related to existing data in the village because by knowing the data needs/problems in the village, the Cantik Village development will provide good solutions in development of statistical infrastructure in the village in the future.
Meanwhile, the Head of Plumbon Subdistrict, Sukarna, said that currently villages are no longer objects but must be subjects of development. Because according to him, all development programs launched by the government, both central and regional, are all currently in the villages. Such as Prodeskel, Pusdatin, SDG's Village, etc. Therefore, by developing the Beautiful Village, he hopes to increase the capacity of village officials in the field of statistics.
