On Tuesday, September 10 2024, the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency, @joediharto Trisnadi, together with the BPS Cirebon Regency Associate Expert Statistician, and the BPS Public Relations Team met with the Acting Regent of Cirebon at the Cirebon Regent's Office.

This audience with the Acting Regent is the culmination of a series of BPS District coordination. Cirebon with the local government regarding the development of the Beautiful Village in 2024 which will be held in Karangwangun Village, District. Babakan and Warujaya Village, District. Depok.

At around 10.00 am, the BPS Kab. Cirebon, accompanied by the Head of DISKOMINFO Kab. Cirebon and Secretary of BAPPELITBANGDA Kab. Cirebon, was warmly received by the Acting Regent of Cirebon, Wahyu Mijaya, in his office.

Head of BPS District. Cirebon gave a presentation and reported the agenda for the 2024 Beautiful Village development activities to the Acting Regent of Cirebon. Head of BPS District. Cirebon said that the Beautiful Village development program is BPS's Quick Wins in sectoral statistics development and is implemented throughout Indonesia.

PJ Regent of Cirebon really appreciates the Beautiful Village program and hopes that the District Government will. Cirebon can contribute to the implementation of this development. He also hopes that more villages in Cirebon Regency will receive statistical guidance. In his view, data currently plays an important role in regional development planning, especially in villages that have become the subject of developing their own villages.

Apart from discussing Cantik Village, on this occasion, the PJ Regent discussed with the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency regarding the strategic indicator data for Cirebon Regency produced by BPS. According to the PJ Regent, regional governments need to coordinate with BPS so that strategic indicator figures such as poverty levels, unemployment rates, HDI, inflation and consumption levels / people's purchasing power, get in-depth insight (reviews) from BPS so that the problems in Cirebon Regency a solution can be found immediately.

The PJ Regent also hopes that BPS can continue to accompany data producers in the regions so that the implementation of sectoral statistics in Cirebon Regency can run well.
