Administrative Product Compilation (KOMPROMIN)

Administrative Product Compilation (KOMPROMIN)

May 13, 2024 | Other Activities

In making publications, BPS carries out three types of activities. The first is a census, then a survey, and the last is a compromise.
What is compromise? Kompromin is an abbreviation for Administrative Product Compilation. Compilation of administrative products is a method of collecting, processing, presenting and analyzing data based on existing administrative records from the government and/or the public. Compromises do not come from primary data (data obtained directly from the object under study), but are based on existing administrative records from the government and/or the community. These administrative records can be interpreted as reports or notes that have existed and been carried out by an agency/organization in order to fulfill the functional task requirements of the respective agency/organization. An example of a compilation of administrative products at the central level released by BPS RI is "Number of Foreign Tourist Visits Per Month", whose data is taken from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Directorate General of Immigration), or there is also data "Number of Crimes According to Regional Police", whose data is taken from the police / POLRI.
At the regional level, Regency/City BPS releases the publication Regions in Figures. In Cirebon Regency it is called "Cirebon Regency in Figures", which is data on the results of compromised products from agencies/Departments/SKPD/OPD/vertical agencies in Cirebon Regency. In 2024, there will be 31 data contributing agencies in Cirebon Regency in Figures.
There are various topics for which data is presented in Regency in Figures, including: Geography and Climate, Government, Population and Employment, Social and People's Welfare, Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Fisheries, Industry, Mining and Energy, to data about trade and the Regional Accounts System. District level data is usually broken down to the sub-district level.
Attached is the infographic "Fisheries in Cirebon Regency" whose data is in the publication Cirebon Regency in Figures for 2024 (data source is the Cirebon Regency Fisheries Service)
