BPS Cirebon Regency Conducts Seruti Survey Quarter IV 2023

BPS Cirebon Regency carried out data collection on the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) Quarter IV 2023. This activity was carried out on 11 - 30 November 2023. Variables collected in the 2023 Seruti survey included household economic information; quantity and value of food, drink and cigarette consumption in the last week; value of non-food expenditure for the last month and 3 (three) months; value of income, receipts and non-consumption expenditure for the last 3 (three) months; position of household assets and liabilities; as well as perceptions of household economic conditions. In the fourth quarter Seruti Survey, the household sample used was the same as the sample in the third quarter. This aims to determine the periodic development of the household economy in a household.
The implementation of Seruti in 2023 in Cirebon Regency every quarter covers 250 sample households spread across the Cirebon Regency area, with a total of 23 officers consisting of 16 enumerators and 7 supervisors. The 2023 Seruti data collection will produce household economic statistics in the form of income values ​​and patterns, consumption expenditure, non-consumption expenditure, investment and household financial transactions at the provincial level.
In carrying out Seruti data collection, apart from having to undergo training before going into the field, officers are also required to always comply with applicable data collection Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The hope is that with good cooperation from respondents in providing honest and truthful answers, as well as good skills from data collectors in the field in gathering household information, quality household economic statistical data will be produced.
