Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the BPS Hall of
Cirebon Regency, a CAPI-based SPH In-depth Study activity was carried out in
order to improve the quality of SPH data and improve sectoral statistical
development capabilities related to the transformation of SPH data collection
and processing business processes, introduction of SPH tools and applications
(CAPI-based). and a CAPI-based SPH trial.
This activity was attended by the BPS RI
Supervision Team from the Directorate of Food Crops Statistics, Horticulture and
Plantations Mr. Miftahul Ulum, Mr. Faisal Arief, and Mr. Zelani Nurfalah as
resource persons who explained about the transformation of ongoing business
processes into new business processes that meet the One Data Indonesia rules.
(SDI) with the hope that the data is of higher quality and up to date. The
Statistical Information System Directorate team represented by Mr. Yulianto
Budi Prabowo as a technical resource for the use of Computer-Assisted Personal
Interviewing (CAPI) which later on the data will be directly inputted by data
collectors from the Agriculture Service and equipped with validation rules to
maintain data consistency, where in the business process currently ongoing data
collection uses paper documents (by the Department of Agriculture) then
inputted via SPH Online (by BPS).
Apart from BPS RI, the activity was also
attended by the Secretariat Team of the Directorate General of Horticulture of
the Ministry of Agriculture as resource persons who explained about the
Horticultural Agricultural Statistics Data Provision System (Sipedas) which has
been integrated with the BPS RI SPH database. This activity was also attended
by the West Java Provincial BPS Team, Mrs. Putri Praditya and Mr. M Yusuf
Alfarasy and 4 participants from the Cirebon Regency Agriculture Office
consisting of 2 representatives of the data collection team and 2 data
processing teams as well as the entire production statistical function team of
BPS Cirebon Regency. . This CAPI-based in-depth study was carried out in 5
provinces and 6 potential districts throughout Indonesia. For West Java
Province, the activities were carried out in Bogor Regency and Cirebon Regency.
This In-depth Study activity was closed with a
visit to the Cirebon Regency Agriculture Office, which was immediately received
by Mr. Asep Pamungkas as the Head of the Cirebon Regency Agriculture Office. He
enthusiastically welcomed the SPH data processing business process
transformation plan. Hopefully this harmonious collaboration can continue to be
improved so that it can realize the common goal, One Data Indonesia.
