Poverty Profile in Cirebon Regency 2024

Abstract

The number of poor people (people with per capita expenditure per month below the poverty line) in Cirebon District in 2024 reached 245.92 thousand people (11 percent), a decrease of 3.26 thousand people compared to the previous year's poor population of 249.18 thousand people (11.20 percent).
The poverty line in Kabupaten Cirebon in 2024 was Rp. 475,046 per capita per month while in 2023 it was Rp. 451,853 per capita per month or an increase of 5.13 percent.
The poverty depth index (P1) of Kabupaten Cirebon decreased from 1.98 in 2023 to 1.69 in 2024. This indicates that the spending distance between the poor and the poverty line is getting closer.
The poverty severity index (P2) of Kabupaten Cirebon decreased from 0.53 in 2023 to 0.36 in 2024. This indicates that the expenditure gap between the poor and the poverty line is getting smaller.
