The Numbers Behind the Economic Census

Let's get to know the numbers that contain information about the Economic Census.

The Economic Census is conducted every ten years, as stated in Law No. 16 of 1997 on Statistics. Likewise, other censuses organized by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) are conducted every ten years, namely the Population Census and the Agricultural Census.

The Economic Census is conducted by BPS in every year ending in 6.

1986

1986 was the first year that the Economic Census was held in Indonesia.
