2024 National Defense Day Commemoration Ceremony

On Thursday, December 19, 2024, all employees of the Cirebon Regency BPS attended the 2024 National Defense Day Commemoration Ceremony. The ceremony was inspected by the Head of the Cirebon Regency BPS, Judiharto Trisnadi. Meanwhile, Wiharto served as the leader of the ceremony.
The commemoration of National Defense Day was motivated by the Second Dutch Military Aggression which caused a power vacuum in Indonesia.
As a result of this power vacuum, a temporary government was formed known as the Emergency Government of the Republic of Indonesia (PDRI) on December 19, 1948 in West Sumatra.
The determination of December 19 as the commemoration of National Defense Day was ratified through Presidential Decree Number 28 of 2006.
