Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) 2024

The BPS Cirebon Regency Sectoral Statistics Development Team led by the BPS Cirebon Regency Middle Expert Statistician, Yanti Heryanti, conducted a Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) roadshow in 4 Sub-districts. This PSS activity was carried out in a marathon from 9-12 December 2024.
In each sub-district visited, BPS Cirebon Regency invited several villages (four villages per sub-district) to be given an understanding of how to collect data according to statistical science principles. The BPS Statistics Development Team also conducted in-depth interviews with invited village officials to find out the state of statistics in their respective villages.
The Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) in this village is closely related to the implementation of Desa Cantik (Desa Cinta Statistik) in 2025. By the Acting Regent of Cirebon, Wahyu Mijaya, BPS was given the responsibility to develop more Beautiful Villages. According to the Acting Regent of Cirebon, the development of Beautiful Villages must be more comprehensive so that all villages in Cirebon Regency can benefit from the development of Beautiful Villages as soon as possible. Hopefully, villages in Cirebon Regency will care more about statistical data in their villages so that development in the villages can be right on target.
