The theme of National Heroes' Day 2024 is "Emulate Your Heroes, Love Your Country". The theme is as stated in the Guidelines for Organizing National Heroes' Day 2024 by the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.

The theme of National Heroes' Day 2024 reflects the spirit of emulating the struggle of the nation's heroes in courage, sacrifice, and fighting spirit. And symbolizes the spirit of continuing the ideals of the nation's founders and loving the country.
