Training Surveyor IBS 2024

The Producers or the Cirebon Regency BPS Production Statistics Team, commanded by the Head of the Production Team, Joko Mulyanto, again held technical training for field enumerators (surveyors). This time those who received technical training were data collectors for LARGE AND MEDIUM INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES (IBS) for 2024.
In the training for data collection officers for Large and Medium Industrial Companies (IBS), 3 activity materials were presented, namely:
- Initial Company Directory (DPA).
- Annual Survey of Manufacturing Industrial Companies (STPIM).
- Manufacturing Industry Commodity Survey (SKIM).
The training was carried out virtually via zoom meeting for 2 days, namely 6-7 May 2024, attended by 30 participants, including 20 Statistics Partners and 10 BPS organic employees.
In implementing the 2024 IBS Survey, officers are targeted to update 397 company directories, collect data on the Annual Survey of Manufacturing Industrial Companies (STPIM) in 140 companies and collect data on the Manufacturing Industrial Commodity Survey (SKIM) in 25 companies.
The training activity was opened by the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency Judiharto Trisnadi and who served as teacher was the Young Expert Statistician of BPS Cirebon Regency, Asri Ardiayuningtyas.
In his direction, the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency said that with 40 sub-districts, Cirebon Regency has quite large manufacturing industry potential. So, in collecting data on large and medium industries, qualified surveyor resources are needed. He hopes that officers understand the concept of the definitions that have been determined so that they can provide clear answers when asked by the company about the information in the questionnaire.
