BPS Cirebon Regency is holding training for prospective SUSENAS and SERUTI officers in 2024. Training activities are carried out in a hybrid manner (Online and Offline).
As we know, the SUSENAS survey is known as the mother of surveys because it produces various strategic indicators needed by the government and various data users. In fact, data for several components that make up the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) in Indonesia are taken from SUSENAS, such as indicators of poverty, health, education, access to clean water, sanitation and energy use.
In his instructions when opening the training, Tuesday, January 23 2024, the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency, Judiharto Trisnadi, emphasized the importance of the SUSENAS survey because it produces strategic indicators and is used by many groups. He hopes that prospective SUSENAS/SERUTI officers can take part in the training well even though the training is carried out in a mixed/hybrid manner (online and offline). According to him, this is very important so that prospective SUSENAS/SERUTI officers can understand the concept of definitions taught by the instructor and are able to understand the SOP for data collection in the field well.
At the end of his briefing, the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency also reminded him that integrity and professionalism as BPS data collectors in the field must always be upheld so that the SUSENAS/SERUTI survey produces quality data and factually captures socio-economic conditions in the community.
Training for Susenas officers in March 2024 and Seruti First Quarter 2024 is planned to be held for 4 (four) days effectively for 2 waves (23 - 31 January 2024). The training begins with 3 (three) days of online meetings and continues with 1 (one) day of offline meetings. Serving as instructors are the Cirebon Regency BPS Young Expert Statistics, Setia Budhi and Nike Dwi Putri
