VIMK Survey Quarter 4 of 2023

Currently BPS Cirebon Regency is conducting a VIMK Survey for Quarter 4 2023. Survey activities will be carried out at the beginning of 2024 to obtain information until December 2023. This survey enumerates micro and small industry (IMK) players throughout Indonesia, including in Cirebon Regency.
As we know, Micro and Small Industries (IMK) are part of the manufacturing industry sector which has a significant contribution in creating jobs and equalizing income. In fact, the IMK industry is one of the business sectors that was able to survive the storm of the Covid 19 pandemic.
The 2023 Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey aims to find out the picture of IMK in Indonesia which can be used as material for economic development planning.
This activity was carried out by registering data on micro and small industrial businesses/companies as well as recording some information related to the dynamics of the continuity of IMK businesses/companies from time to time.
This is done to obtain comprehensive data regarding IMK businesses which will ultimately increase the contribution of micro and small industries to the national economy.
IMK businesses use more local natural resources and have limited access to business capital and are a social safety net that is effective in equalizing income and business opportunities as well as implementing simple technology.
Various characteristics of IMK are generally spread across all islands in Indonesia. Especially in Cirebon Regency, IMK businesses vary greatly. A total of 17 field data collectors and 10 supervisors were assigned to carry out the Quarterly VIMK survey enumeration in Cirebon Regency, with a total sample of 166 samples. Hopefully the VIMK Survey in Cirebon Regency can run smoothly and according to plan.
