Directions from the Head of BPS West Java Province on the first day of work in 2024

In order to implement the first day of work in 2024, this morning, all BPS Cirebon Regency employees followed the directions of the Head of BPS West Java Province, Marsudijono, online.
Exactly at 07.30, the West Java Regency/City Coordination Meeting activities began with the Head of the General Division of BPS West Java Province, Agus Praptono, acting as moderator who opened the event. This meeting activity was attended by all BPS Regency/City employees throughout West Java.
In his direction, the Head of BPS West Java Province hopes that the performance of all BPS employees will increase in 2024, both in technical and administrative aspects. BPS employees must also be adaptive in dealing with the data ecosystem which is currently very complex. Enumeration methods that are increasingly developing must be applied to deal with changes in the data ecosystem. Apart from that, statistical partner management is an important key in producing quality BPS data.
The Head of BPS for West Java Province reminded that currently BPS data is eagerly awaited by many parties. Examples include inflation, poverty level, HDI and so on. BPS employees must be able to provide insights from various points of view so that BPS data can have meaning that can be elaborated on by other parties.
Not to forget, in this political year, the Head of BPS West Java Province emphasized that the neutrality of BPS ASN must be upheld. BPS employees must carry out work in accordance with applicable SOPs and are strictly prohibited from committing unexpected disciplinary violations.
At the end of the event, the Head of BPS West Java Province hoped that all BPS employees could work together, work together and not be divided, especially as they still implemented a SILO culture which could hinder the organization's goals.
