Coordination with the Regional Secretary of Cirebon Regency

Monday, December 11 2023, Head of BPS Cirebon Regency, Judiharto Trisnadi visited the official residence of the Regional Secretary of Cirebon Regency, Hilmi Rivai. This visit was not only for friendship, but also to report several matters related to statistical activities in Cirebon Regency. Also participating in this visit was the Cirebon Regency BPS Intermediate Expert Statistics, Yanti Heryanti.
There were three BPS activities reported by the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency. The first is the EPSS activity (Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics). EPSS is a BPS activity in assessing the extent to which statistical rules are applied by Regional Governments, in this case Departments/Agencies/OPD, in collecting sectoral data in their respective fields. EPSS activities are carried out to measure whether the data collected by the Department/Agency/OPD is in accordance with data standards and statistical rules so that the data can be shared with other parties.
What is very encouraging is that in 2023, the Regional Government of Cirebon Regency will be among the 28 regencies/cities that will receive awards as the best organizers of sectoral statistics throughout Indonesia.
The second activity reported to the Regional Secretary is the Cantik Village activity. This Beautiful Village development activity aims to increase the literacy and ability of village officials in the field of statistics, including in collecting, processing and presenting data. This year, the Beautiful Village activities were held in Bodesari Village, Plumbon District.
What is also very encouraging is that the 2023 Beautiful Village Activity received the achievement of being the third best Beautiful Village in West Java.
Apart from EPSS and Desa Cantik, the Head of BPS Cirebon Regency also reported to the Regional Secretary that the REGSOSEK data, which was initially collected by BPS, can now be accessed by submitting an application to BAPPENAS as the data owner. The Head of BPS Cirebon Regency hopes that the Regional Government of Cirebon Regency can immediately utilize REGSOSEK data by submitting a request to BAPPENAS so that REGSOSEK data can be useful in formulating policies in Cirebon Regency.
