Wilkerstat ST2023 Payload and Geospatial Framework Update Activities

BPS will conduct an Agricultural Census in 2023. In preparing for the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023), BPS will update the master framework as a basis for planning in the implementation of ST2023. Unlike the previous Agricultural Census, the master framework that was built was not only on the content of the statistical work area (wilkerstat), but also related to the preparation of the geospatial framework of agricultural land.

The geospatial framework preparation activities will be carried out in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, the ST2023 Geospatial Framework Preparation Study has been carried out, followed by the preparation of the geospatial framework. In 2022, the Wilkerstat ST2023 Geospatial Framework and Load Updating was held which aims to update the agricultural geospatial framework, namely in the form of areas/land that have agricultural potential; and updating wilkerstat maps and content to the smallest local environmental unit (SLS) and census block (BS) levels, as the basis for the implementation of ST2023.

The implementation of the Wilkerstat ST2023 Geospatial Framework and Loading Update was carried out in March from March 1 to March 31, 2022 with a total of 520 officers at BPS Cirebon Regency consisting of 432 mappers and 88 supervisors. Prior to taking to the field the officers had been trained in February 2022.
